Description:

Take a guide tour of New Delhi, the national capital of India, getting an introduction to the country and its people. Spend time in Haridwar, a holy city whose name means “Gateway to God” This city is regarded as one of the 7 holiest places in the Hindu world. Then visit Rishikesh, also a holy city for Hindus and a famous center of pilgrimage.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 – New Delhi
Upon arriving in New Delhi,pickup from your location and checkin at hotel,after sometime take a tour of the capital city, stopping at Old Delhi’s Red Fort and Jama Masjid. You will also visit the Gandhi smriti, Humayu’s Tomb, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Qutub Minar, and the Lotus Temple. Later, your driver will drop you off  back at your hotel in New Delhi .

Day 2: New Delhi – Haridwar – Rishikesh 
Depart New Delhi in the morning for Haridwar, located 155 miles (250 kilometers) away. Once there, visit the famous Har Ki Pauri at the Ganges River before heading on to the Bharat Mata Temple. Then make your way to Rishikesh, and after checking in at your hotel, attend a famous worship evening, “AARTI,” held right on the Ganges River. Return to the hotel and stay overnight in Rishikesh.

Day 3: Rishikesh
In the morning, after breakfast, take a tour to see the main city attractions, including temples, ghat, and Laxman Jhoola and finally The Maharishi Mahesh Yogi ashram also known as Beatles ashram. Ashram is officially closed and there is littel bit trekking required to reach there,your guide may use bike to take you there and you can see it from outside.

Then take a short boat ride on the Ganges; afterward, you will have a free evening to go shopping or explore more on your own.

Day 4: Rishikesh – Delhi

After breakfast you will be transferred back to Delhi and dropped off at your hotel, railway station, or the airport.

Optionally, you can choose to end your tour at Rishikesh and travel to your next destination on your own.
