Day 0
All guests are advised to arrive at the boarding point 45 mins prior to the
scheduled departure time. start overnight journey towards Shimla by Volvo
without delay
Day 1 – SHIMLA TO SANGLA
- Arrive in Shimla at 8.00 AM.
- Stop in Kufri for breakfast.
- Begin the journey to Kinnaur via Narkanda, known as the “Apple Capital of India,” along the Indo-Tibetan highway towards Sangla.
- Enter the Kinnaur valley by passing through Kinnaur Gate, a famous rock tunnel on the Shimla-Kaza road, around 170 kms from Shimla.
- Arrive in Sangla by evening.
- Have dinner and spend the night there.
Day 2 SANGLA – CHITKUL – NAKO
- Depart from Sangla after breakfast.
- Explore Chitkul village, visit Chitkul Monastery, Akhiri Dhabha for
refreshments and spend time by the Chitkul River. - Continue the journey towards Nako Via Khab Sangam.
- Witness the conuence of Spiti and Sutlej rivers at Khab Sangam.
- Proceed towards Nako, enjoying the scenic Spiti Valley landscapes.
- Arrive in Nako and visit Nako Monastery.
- Take a leisurely stroll around Nako Lake.
- Check-in to accommodations in Nako for the evening.
Day 3 NAKO TO KAZA VIA GUE VILLAGE, TABO & DHANKAR.
- After breakfast and checking out from Nako.
- Visit Gue Village, known for the 500-year-old mummy of a Buddhist monk.
- Explore the village and its ancient monastery.
- Explore Tabo, the Ancient Monsatery of all.
- Ride to Dhankar, a village famous for its monastery perched on a high cliff.
- Explore Dhankar Monastery and enjoy panoramic views of the Spiti Valley.
- Check into your accommodations upon arrival and relax.
Day 4 KAZA – EXPLORE KEE MONASTERY – KIBBER – CHICHAM
- After breakfast in Home stay, embark on your journey.
- Visit Chicham, a picturesque village known for its thrilling suspension bridge (approx. 14 km from Kaza).
- Cross the suspension bridge for a unique experience and enjoy the scenic beauty of Chicham.
- Proceed to Kee Monastery (also called Key Monastery), a renowned Tibetan Buddhist monastery
- Explore the ancient halls and soak in the spiritual atmosphere of Kee
Monastery. - Next, head to Kibber, one of the world’s highest inhabited villages.
- Delight in the breathtaking landscapes and immerse yourself in the village’s unique charm.
Day 5 KAZA EXPLORE – HIKKIM – KOMIC – LANGZA
- After breakfast in Kaza visit Hikkim, home to the world’s highest post office.
- Explore the post office and send a postcard from this unique location.
- Proceed to Komic, one of the highest villages in Asia with stunning vistas
- Immerse yourself in Komic’s serene landscapes and engage with the locals.
- Conclude your journey in Langza, renowned for its large Buddha statue and fossil-rich terrain
- Admire the Buddha statue and explore the fascinating fossil beds.
Day 6 KAZA To KALPA | RECKONG PEO
- Ride to Reckong Peo / Kalpa from Kaza
- Depart from Kaza and Drive to Reckong Peo (202 km).
- Explore the town and possibly visit the Kalpa viewpoint.
- Continue to Kalpa and Explore:
- Continue to Kalpa (8 km) and explore the village with apple orchards.
- Visit Narayan-Nagini Temple and Hu-Bu-Lan-Kar Monastery.
Optionally, go to Suicide Point for panoramic views (3 km). - Check-in to accommodations in Kalpa for relaxation.
Day 7 KALPA TO SHIMLA – DELHI DEPARTURE
- Check-out from Kalpa:
- Drive Back to Shimla:
- Drive back to Shimla (244 km) through scenic Himalayan terrain.
- Arrive in Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh.
- Conclude the memorable journey and proceed with departure plans to
Delhi.
